Artful Journeys “Music in the Loire Valley” Trip, Spring 2022

Music Workshops, Performances and Conversations with Jon Manasse, Jon Nakamatsu, and the Ying Quartet.
May 24th to June 2, 2022

Our Loire Valley trip will provide chamber music lovers with nine days of bliss alongside Jon Manasse, Jon Nakamatsu and the Ying String Quartet, resident ensemble at the Bowdoin International Music Festival. These world-renowned musicians will treat us to daily music sessions and concerts at our lodgings. We will stay in either the Château de Noirieux or the Château des Briottières, both historical luxury 4-star hotels near Angers with in-house restaurants.

We have wonderful excursions planned, including a tour of the famous tapestries at the Angers Château, a vineyard for a wine and cheese tasting, the Château de Brissac where our musicians will perform a concert, and the town of Montreuil-Bellay.
